Abstract
Penelitian ini merancang dan membuat alat penghitung kecepatan dan arah angin dengan sensor hall effect berbasis mikrokontroler esp8266. Kincir angin di buat menggunakan bahan yang ringan untuk mempermudah putaran kincir meskipun dengan angin yang tidak terlalu cepat. Pengukuran kecepatan dan arah angin menggunakan sensor hall effect A3144 dengan memanfaatkan magnet yang berada pada kincir angin dan arah angin. Mikrokontroler esp8266 yang digunakan sebagai pengatur keseluruhan sistem yang dijalankan melalui program arduino. Prinsip kerja alat adalah saat kincir angin berputar dan sensor hall effect A3144 berada di dekat atau sejajar dengan magnet, magnet tersebut akan terdeteksi oleh sensor hall effect A3144, sehingga sensor mengirimkan pulsa ke esp8266 dengan satuan rpm (revolution per minute) dan didapatkan frekuensinya, dari data tersebut nilai dari kecepatan angin data diperoleh dan di tampilkan ke LCD. Secara keseluruhan sensor hall effect A3144 memiliki nilai rata-rata akurasi 86,31%, presisi 89,73%, dan error 3,87%.
