Abstract
The research conducted is research and development (Research and Development). The purpose of the research is to produce a product in the form of a video in which there are steps to learn the copy the master method using videoscribe in the material for writing biographical texts for class X MA Darut Taqwa students. This research on the development of the copy the master method using videoscribe stems from the problems faced by students related to the lack of understanding of learning materials which are usually written in social media face book and whatsapp. Research and Development uses the ADDIE research model by Branch. Based on the results of student needs, 44% of students said they needed a new method of learning and the results of interviews related to the objective conditions of students preferred the audio-visual learning style. The next stage is design, development, product validity testing and product revision. The results of product validation from material experts obtained a percentage of product feasibility of 72% which means feasible, linguistic and design validity obtained the same percentage, namely 69% with a feasible category. Based on the results of the validation of material/content experts, linguists and product design experts produced by researchers, it is suitable to be used in learning to write biographical texts for class X students.
