Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Index Card Match Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class VII Civics at SMP Islam Terpadu Ishlahul Ummah Prabumulih City. The study used the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One Group Prestest-Posttest. The population of this study was all seventh graders at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Ishlahul Ummah, Prabumulih City, amounting to 266 students with a sample of class VII Haramain totaling 31 students. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using documentation and tests. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes seen from the results of the initial test (pretest) the overall average score is 50 which is included in the less category and in the final test (posttest) the overall average value increases to 80 which is included in the category very good. And based on the hypothesis test, the value or (Sig 2-tailed) is .000 < 0.05 (α) which means the value of Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 so that it can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is, there is a significant influence from the application of the model. Index Card Match learning on the learning outcomes of VII grade Civics students at the Integrated Islamic Junior High School Ishlahul Ummah Prabumulih City.
