Abstract
This research aims to find out the influence of online learning on the independence of students of the Economic Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University class of 2019. This study is a causal associative study. The population in this study was all students of the Economic Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Sriwijaya class of 2019 consisting of 2 classes with 67 students. Sampling uses non-probability sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of research and data processing related to online learning and its relationship to learning independence, it can be concluded that there is an influence. This is proven by the hypothesis test using the test t obtained t_count>t_table or 2,053>1,997, then it means that there is an influence between online learning on student learning independence. High online learning can affect students' learning independence. Thus, online learning is one of the factors that must be improved and developed properly in order to provide satisfactory learning independence. Keywords: Online Learning, Learning Independence
