Abstract

Kurangnya inisiatif manusia untuk mengelola sampahnya sendiri menjadi salah satu sebab tidak maksimalnya manajemen sampah di area pemukiman. Sistem untuk mendeteksi jenis sampah secara real time menjadi kebutuhan untuk mendukung proses manajemen sampah yang lebih cepat dan maksimal. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem pendeteksi jenis sampah menggunakan 2 jenis model Single Shot Multibox Detector, yaitu SSD300 dan SSD512. Kedua model tersebut dibandingkan berdasarkan akurasi dan kecepatan pendeteksian pada TACO dataset dan Waste Classification Data. Model SSD512 menghasilkan akurasi yang lebih baik yaitu 0,63 mAP dibandingkan dengan akurasi yang didapatkan SSD300 yaitu 0,57 mAP. Kedua model juga mampu dikatakan real time, dengan kecepatan deteksi SSD300 yang lebih cepat yaitu 51 fps dibandingkan dengan kecepatan deteksi SSD512 yaitu 28 fps.
