Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah dilakukannya kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan media video melalui pendekatan PMRI dan collaborative learning dengan materi pokok fungsi kuadrat. Selama proses pembelajaran peneliti menggunakan media video yang berisikan permasalahan sharing task dan jumping task guna memunculkan ide-ide kreatif siswa dan meningkatkan daya tarik siswa dalam belajar. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX.4 SMP Negeri 1 Palembang yang berjumlah 22 dari 33 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes tertulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Setelah dilakukannya penelitian di kelas IX.4 SMP Negeri 1 Palembang pada materi fungsi kuadrat dengan menggunakan media video melalui pendekatan PMRI dan collaborative leaning, diperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa tergolong dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata 61,41 dengan indikator yang paling sering muncul adalah manipulasi matematika dan indikator yang paling jarang muncul adalah indikator memeriksa keshahihan suatu argumen.
