Abstract
Analisis kekuatan mekanik serat nano Polivinil Alkohol/Polivinilpirolidon/ Ekstrak Daun Binahong (PVA/PVP/EDB) untuk aplikasi pembalut luka telah berhasil dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pemdekatan kuantitatif. Serat nano dibuat dengan metode electrospinning dengan konsentrasi PVA 13%, PVP 0,75 gram dan EDB 7% (SP1), 10% (SP2) dan 14% (SP3). Serat nano kemudian dikarakterisasi morfologi dan interaksi molekulnya. Sampel terbaik berdasarkan proses tersebut (SP2) kemudian dioptimasi parameter prosesnya yang terdiri dari; laju alir larutan sebsar 0,03 ml/jam, 0,06 ml/jam dan 0,1 ml/jam; tegangan sebesar 10 kV, 13 kV dan 18 kV; jarak ujung jarum-kolektor sejauh 8 cm, 15 cm, dan 20 cm. Hasil uji tarik menunjukkan bahwa kuat tarik berbanding lurus dengan tegangan, dan jarak ujung jarum-kolektor serta berbanding terbalik dengan laju alir larutan.
