Abstract

The creation of a nursing care plan (NCP) consisting of diagnosis, external, and nursing intervention in practice is still widely found errors. Errors found in each stage of NCP, namely diagnosis, external, and nursing interventions that are not made by standards both from the type, formulation, and narrative. This research aims to create a guide in the creation of NCP. This research used Research and Development (R&D) methods with quantitative approaches and ADDIE models, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the usability testing research got a score of 0.88 which indicates that this application prototype is categorized as very good so that it can be used as a learning medium for nursing students in making NCP. This application is able to answer the challenges in the difficulty of making NCP in a standardized and easier way without having to open 3 standard books that have been published by the Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI). This application can be used for nursing students as well as within the scope of educational institutions and nursing services. This NCP application should be developed to be more perfect in the future.
