Abstract

This study determined the effect of tumeric capsules (Curcuma domestica Vahl) on broiler chickens strain Cobb un sexing . This research lasted from April until June 2021 in the Experimental Station Intensive System. An experimental study with Randomized Design was done used 60 day old chickens of broiler strain Cobb CP 707 un sexing. The study used 4 treatments and 5 replications consisting of 0, 200, 400 and 600 mg tumeric capsule. The variables observed were feed consumption, body weight and feed conversion ration. Data was analyzed with ANOVA and List Significan Defferensis test. The results of this study is the gift of tumeric capsules effect (P<0,05) to body weight but not effect (P>0,05) to consumption and conversion feed ration. The conclusion of this study is the gift of tumeric capsule orally on the broiler with a dose 400 mg of tumeric capsules able to increase body weight of broiler chicken.
