Abstract
Injuries experienced by children both at home and at school can be in the form of abrasion, bruise, and first-degree burn caused by children's activities such as playing, cycling, running, sports, and other physical activity. Students' knowledge and an unsupportive environment in handling first aid for injuries both at school and at home will have a negative impact on the wound healing process if it is not handled properly. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling used probability sampling method with cluster sampling technique with a sample size of 40 students. The results showed that health education regarding first aid for injuries using video media and booklet media effective in increasing students' knowledge with the same p-value in both groups, namely 0.000. The results of the independent test comparison of the effectiveness of video media and booklet media obtained value p-value of 0.002 < (0.05). The conclusion showing that the use of video media is more effective than the media booklet in increasing students' knowledge.
