Abstract

Telah dilakukan isolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dari ekstrak metanol buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia Linn.). Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi sedangkan pemisahan dan pemurnian metabolit sekunder dilakukan dengan berbagai teknik kromatografi. Senyawa hasil isolasi diperoleh berupa padatan kuning dengan titik leleh 199,9°C - 202°C. Berdasarkan analisa data spektrum, 'H-NMR, 13C-NMR, NOE 1D serta perbandingan dengan data literatur, disimpulkan bahwa senyawa hasil isolasi adalah turunan kumarin yaitu 7-hidroksi-6-metoksikumarin atau dikenal dengan nama skopoletin. Ekstrak metanol buah mengkudu dan senyawa hasil isolasi dikategorikan tidak aktif sitotoksik terhadap sel murin leukemia P388 dengan nilai IC50 masing-masing > 100 gg/mL dan 65,69 pg/mL.
