Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of group guidance service Against students' self-confidence in Senior high school Srijaya Negara Palembang. The population in this study were all students of class XI, which amounted to 54 students and samples of 7 students who had low confidence. The research method used was one group pre-test and post-test design and treatment was given for 4 times meeting of group guidance service. Data collection technique was by using questionnaires. Data analysis technique was by using t test formula (t-test). From the result of data analysis obtained was tcount = 17,21 and ttable = 2,447 in 5% significant level, so it is known that tcount = 17,21 > ttable = 2,447. A total of 7 students had low self-esteem before doing group guidance. After receiving the group guidance service, the students' self-confidence increased to High category. These results showed the level of self-confidence of students of class XI SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang increased after receiving group guidance service. In other words, students' self-confidence can be improved through the provision of guidance services class XI group in Senior high school Srijaya Negara Palembang.
