Abstract

Rumput laut merupakan sumber daya hayati yang memiliki kandungan senyawa bioaktif dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu sumber bahan obat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan jenis bakteri endofit dan mengetahui laju pertumbuhan bakteri endofit pada rumput laut spesies A. fragilissima. Dari data hasil, didapatkan bakteri endofit yang berasal dari rumput laut A. fragilissima berhasil diisolasi dengan jumlah 2 isolat, yakni bakteri Klebsiella sp kode isolat AF1 K dengan ciri-ciri bentuk sel monobasil, gram negatif dan bakteri Veilonella sp kode isolat AF2 P bentuk sel streptococci dan gram negatif. Rata-rata pertumbuhan bakteri Klebsiella sp jumlah bakteri 0,491 (CFU/ml/jam) dengan waktu generasi 110,516 (jam/sel). Rata-rata pertumbuhan bakteri Veilonella sp jumlah bakteri 0,382 (CFU/ml/jam) dengan waktu generasi 477,276 (jam/sel).
