Abstract

This study aims to determine student perceptions of the preparation, implementation and assessment of industrial practices during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were students of Mechanical Engineering Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University batch 2018 who had carried out industrial practice, totaling 64 students with the technique of determining the sample using the total sampling technique. The data collection technique in this research is using a questionnaire. Based on the research results, students perceive that the preparation for industrial practice has gone very well with a percentage of 83.4% although there are still difficulties in getting industrial practice places during the Covid-19 pandemic. amounting to 87% but the activities are divided into online and offline and students also view that the assessment in industrial practice during the Covid-19 pandemic has gone very well where the percentage is 84% even though some groups of students do not get certificates.
