Abstract
Implementation of PHBS in the school environment is one of the strategic efforts to mobilize and empower teachers and students to live clean and healthy. Diseases that will arise due to 3 low PHBS include worms, diarrhea, toothache, skin diseases, malnutrition and so forth, which ultimately lead to low health status of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the Behavior of Clean and Healthy Life of Elementary School Students of 20 Tanjung Lago Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted qualitatively with informants amounted to 11 people, consisting of one principal, two teachers, and eight students. Triangulation is carried out in the form of source triangulation, method triangulation and data triangulation. Then the observation at State Elementary School 20 Tanjung Lago Banyuasin District. The results showed that some students were positive and there were also those who did not care, there were still facilities that were not yet available in the school environment, infrastructure available in school PHBS such as bathrooms / lavatories, regulations were given the school verbally, and the support is carried out given verbal directions and reprimands. Good knowledge does not necessarily encourage students to do PHBS in the school environment, but only students who have a high desire can apply PHBS at school. Tanjung Lago State Primary School 20 Banyuasin District is expected to be able to approach the school activities such as applying the UKS program to students and providing information about PHBS at school. So that the students gave full support in the implementation of the PHBS program at the school.
