Abstract

This research aims to find out how the management that occurred in Pasar 16 Ilir Kota Palembang. This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The problem in this research is (1) Management in the planning of procurement of facilities in the field of facilities and infrastructure that look unclean or dirty. (2) The condition of plots, kiosks and los are neglected. (3) Facilities and Infrastructure that make traders and buyers less comfortable. From the results of the research showed that the implementation of management that occurred in Pasar 16 Ilir Kota Palembang is seen from the aspects of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, namely: (1) Aspects of market facilities and infrastructure such as building facilities that look old and need market repairs. Kiosks and los that look dirty and the roof of the stall roof that is destroyed also needs to be considered for the comfort of traders and visitors because it is in accordance with the vision and mission of the market which is to create a clean and comfortable market. (2) Kiosks and los are still empty. (3) The condition of the parking lot in market 16 also needs to be considered again so as not to eat the shoulder of the road because in the market 16 ilir itself is still not too good where the motor parking in front of the market makes the mobility of people running, especially four-wheeled vehicles difficult to go through the area.
