Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the internet by students of Economic Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in utilizing the internet, especially in the field of internet facilities and infrastructure. The research method is descriptive quantitative. With data collection techniques Questionnaire and interviews and documentation. Data analysis of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of research data acquisition based on internet utilization indicators, there are 4, namely, Browshing 59% (Not Good), Searching with a percentage of 65% (good enough), Resourcing with a percentage of 66% (good enough), Communicating with a percentage of 72% (good enough). , Consulting with a percentage of 60% (not good). The analysis of student internet utilization in the Education Study Program is categorized quite well with a percentage of 64%. The results of the questionnaire on the overall use of the internet for Economic Education students there were 52% (27 people) students who used the internet quite well, 19% (10 people) students (poor), 15% (8 people) students (good), 8% (4 people) students (poor) and 6% (3 people) students (very good). From the results of the use of the internet, it is known that most of the use of the internet by students of economic education is quite good but cannot be said to be optimal.
