Abstract
The research was to know The Effect of Lysine Suplementation on Egg Quality of Brakel Kriel-Silver First Phase. This research was conducted from Juli until September 2005 at Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Ayam (BPTU) Sembawa Banyuasin. The Completely Randomized Design was used in this research. The level of lysine were P0 (100% basal diet), P1 (100% basal diet + 0,01% lysine), P2 (100% basal diet + 0,015% lysine), P3(100% basal diet + 0,02% lysine) and P4 (100% basal diet + 0,025% lysine) each four replications. The parameters on this research were egg weight, albumen percentage, yolk percentage, yolk colour and the shell thickness. Data analyzed using Anova and difference between treatments was analyzed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result of research indicated that adding lysine had no effect on egg weight, albumen percentage, yolk percentage, yolk colour and shell thickness of Brakel Kriel-Silver first phase. It was concluded that 0,025% lysine supplementation had no effect on egg quality of Brakel Kriel-Silver first phase.
