Abstract
This study aims to determine the strategies of PPKn teachers in increasing the self-efficacy of students at UPT SMA Negeri 1 OKU Timur. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The social situation of this research is UPT SMA Negeri 1 OKU Timur as the research (place), PPKn teachers and students as (actors) and learning activities carried out by PPKn teachers in increasing the self-efficacy of students as (activities) to be studied. The informants in this study amounted to 6 main informants and 4 supporting informants who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques in this study used documentation, interviews, and observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested using the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test. Based on the analysis of data from the results of the research conducted, it shows that the strategies of Civics teachers in improving the self-efficacy of students at UPT SMA Negeri 1 OKU Timur are through success experiences, experiences of others, verbal persuasion, and physiological conditions.
