Abstract
This research was conducted in Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Sapi Dwiguna dan Ayam (BPTU) Sembawa, South Sumatera from December 2004 to January 2005. The object was to observed Arabian Layer’s Performance fed with coconut meal residu by product which fermented with Tempe yeast. The research used 40 Arabian layers were randomly distributed into 40 cages for 8 Weeks and feed with 5 treatment diets (Ro- R4)- The diet treatments were R0 ( 0% fermented coconut meal residu by product), RI (97,5% basal diet+ 2,5% fermented coconut meal residu by product), R2 ( 95% basal diet + 5% fermented coconut meal residu by product), R3 (92,5% basal diet + 7,5% fermented coconut meal residu by product), R4 (90% basal diet + 10% fermented coconut meal residu by product) respectively. Parameters of this research were feed intake, daily gain, egg production, egg weight and feed conversion. They were statistically determine using completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 4 aplications. The result shows that using of fermented coconut meal residu by product up to 10% on diet gave no significant result to all parameters.
