Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Kekuatan Otot Lengan Terhadap Hasil Lempar Bola Pada Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 60 Palembang”. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap hasil lempar bola pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 60 Palembang?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap hasil lempar bola pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 60 Palembang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kekuatan otot lengan sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan hasil lempar bola sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 60 Palembang yang berjumlah 120 siswa. Kemudian dari poulasi tersebut diambil secara acak setiap kelas sehingga jumlah sampel terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Statistik yang digunakan untuk menganalisa dan dalam pembuktian hipotesis adalah statistik uji t dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah push-up dan lempar bola, kemudian hasilnya ditabulasi dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi produck moment untuk melihat hubungan antara kedua variabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan di peroleh r = 1.016 sehingga t hitung tabel = 0.361. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang-diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima, bahwa kekuatan otot lengan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan hasil lempar bola pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 60 Palembang.
