Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning one Indonesian data, in order to overcome the problem of data that is still often managed not seriously, thus making Provinces in Indonesia, especially south Sumatra Province, also issue a Regulation of the Governor of South Sumatra Province Number 4 of 2021 concerning one South Sumatra data. Based on the regulations- According to the regulation, there is a policy program in the form of the South Sumatra One Data Information System (SIMATA) portal, which presents data related to the Province of South Sumatra. The problem in the field that had occurred was that this portal could not be accessed temporarily, this was allegedly due to the absence of clear operating procedures in assisting the organization's work processes. The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of the One Data Information System program is processed by the Department of Communication and Information, South Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative method approach by collecting data through interviews, documentation and observations at locations related to the SIMATA Portal Program Management Analysis. This research produces answers to the research objectives based on the adopted theory. In the management of the SIMATA portal, the Communication and Informatics Office of South Sumatra Province has carried out the management process according to the adopted theory, namely planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising. However, in the process there are activities that have not been implemented, such as the development and maintenance of portals that have not been consistent and budgeting that has not fully complied with regulations, as well as unclear Standard Operating Procedures. Therefore, it is better to take corrective action in the planning process which must be further improved and its supervision must be further clarified, so that the problems that occur in managing the realization of the perfect SIMATA portal and the one data policy can be resolved.
