Abstract

The research method used in this paper is research and development. The purpose of this research is to produce a development product in the form of Professional 3D Pageflip-based Electronic Module (E-Modul) teaching materials used in learning to retell the contents of fables for seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Sembawa. The method used in this research is a modification of the research and development method of Borg and Gall. The stages carried out in this research; information gathering, product design, expert validation, product revision, and product testing. The validation test was carried out by three experts; media experts, materials experts, and linguists. The results of the media expert validation obtained a total score of 28 which was represented as 87.5% with a very valid category out of a total score of 32. The results of the material expert validation obtained a total score of 34 which was represented as 94.4% with a very valid category of the total score of 36. The results of the validation of linguists obtained a total value of 22 which was presented to be 91.6% with a very valid category. Based on the results of expert validation, the Professional 3D Pageflip-based Electronic Module (e-module) in learning to retell the fables of seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Sembawa is categorized as very valid.
