Abstract

This study is aimed to describe moral values in the novel Crown of Light for mom and dad created by Fifa Dila and describes the implication in learning Indonesian literature in high school. This study is a qualitative study with descriptive method and analyzed by using moral values theory according to Nurgiyantoro. The source of data obtained from the novel The Crown Light for mom and dad created by Fifa Dila published by Noura Books on 2014. There are 56 quotes moral values which can be obtained from the result of this study in theory Nurgiyantoro namely: (1) the moral value of the relationship man with Lord in the form of surrender self to God there are 2 quotes, Climb prayer there are 8 quotes, thanks to Lord there are 7 quotes, praise majesty God there are 3 quotes, and do prayer there are 3 quotes; (2) the moral value of the relationship man with self alone in the form of promise there are 7 quotes, don't give up there are 5 quotes, believe self there are 2 quotes, patience there are 1 quote, and honest there are 1 quote; (3) the moral value of the relationship man with other people in the form of parent's advice to child there are 5 quotes, thank love there are 5 quotes, help there are 3 quotes, and love Dear between friends/relatives there are 2 quotes; and (4) the moral value of the relationship man with natural in the form of guard sustainability nature there are 2 quotes. Study this implication on learning Indonesian literature in high school at Competence Basic (KD) 3.9 class XII. Because of that, this research could be made a reference for similar research and could be used by teachers in teaching learning Indonesian especially at KD 3.9 class XII.
