Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research is that there are still problems and obstacles experienced by students and lecturers when accessing e-learning which often results in errors or cannot be accessed so they must be transferred to other learning media. This study aims to determine online learning activities in the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Unsri during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive using qualitative methods. This research technique is done through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. This study uses management theory by George R. Terry. The results of this study indicate that the management of online learning carried out at the Department of Public Administration, FISIP Unsri has been running well based on the 4 dimensions proposed by George R. Terry, although in practice there is still no special assignment decree made for the team that manages e-learning in Indonesia. Department of Public Administration and the lack of zoom facilities used in learning because not all lecturers have zoom accounts. The suggestion in this study is to make a decree for the e-learning management team in the Department of Public Administration so that it is clear the division of tasks and responsibilities in managing e-learning and adding zoom accounts because not all lecturers have their own zoom accounts.
