Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung maggot BSF (Hermetia illucens) terhadap bobot gizzard, usus, hati itik Peking. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli sampai bulan September 2021 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Kandang Percobaan Ternak Unggas Program Studi Peternakan Jurusan Teknologi dan Industri Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan ternak itik Peking sebanyak 100 ekor yang dipelihara mulai Day Old Duck (DOD). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yang terdiri dari 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20% tepung maggot BSF. Parameter yang diamati yaitu bobot gizzard, bobot usus, bobot hati. Data dianalisa dengan ANOVA. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung maggot BSF (Hermetia illucens) tidak berpengaruh (P>0,05) terhadap bobot gizzard, bobot usus, bobot hati. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian tepung maggot BSF (Hermetia illucens) dengan dosis 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% tidak dapat meningkatkan bobot gizzard, bobot usus, bobot hati itik Peking.
