Abstract
Technological advances are very influential in the lives of people in the city of Palembang, one of which is in shopping. Shopping malls are effective in terms of efficiency and shopping. The existence of internet technology gives rise to a new habit in society, namely shopping online. However, there are still few online shopping enthusiasts in the city of Palembang due to the characteristics of the people who tend to prefer to shop directly at stores to shop offline. Therefore, the purpose of this planning and design is to create a shopping center that responds to technological advances using a self-system approach so as to provide convenience and comfort in shopping online and offline at shopping centers. However, shopping centers must also be able to maintain as a place of recreation. The balance of online and offline shopping activities makes malls and warehouses interconnected even though they have different functions and activities. The design really pays attention to the space requirements as well as the circulation of visitors both inside and outside the shopping center. The distribution of circulation on the site is adjusted based on the purpose of shopping mall users.
