Abstract
The research was to study activity and population rumen microbes by biomineral Zn organic supplementation. The research has done on June 2011 to May 2012 in Animal feed and Nutrition Laboratory Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University. This study used two treatment A0 and Al, was four parameters were is : 1) Population Cellulolytic bacteria, 2) population Amylolitic bacteria, 3) Population Proteolytic bacteria, 4) Analyze of volatile acid (VFA total). Hungate culture technique and Roli tube quantification. The total population in highest for once treatment cellulolytic bacteria (33,2 x 107 cfu), amilolytic bacteria (4,77 x 108 cfu), and proteolytic bacteria (13,3 x 107 cfu). Bacteria’s total population for cellulolytic bacteria (73,5 x 10' cfu), amilolytic bacteria (14,24 x 108 cfu), and proteolitic bacteria (40 x 107 cfu). The results obtained indicate that activity and population of rumen microbes a supplementation with biomineral Zn organic not influence to growth up populations bacteri cellulolytic, amilolytic and proteolitic.
