Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of liquid fertilizer on quality nutrition Taiwan elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum Schumach) based analysis of Dry Ingredients, Protein Rude, Crude Fiber, Calcium and Phosphorus. This study was conducted in two stages. The first phase implemented in Livestock Experimental Farm Program. The second phase carried out in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Food Livestock and Soil Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Sriwijaya, from February to September 2012. The design used in this study is a randomized block design (RBD), which consisted of four treatments and three replications consisting of CO (Control), Cl (1 L/ha-1 liquid fertilizer), C2 (liquid fertilizer 2 L / ha-1), C3 (3 L/ha-1 liquid fertilizer). Parameters measured were dry material, Protein Rough, Rugged Fiber, Calcium and Phosphorus. Based on the results of the study showed that administration of liquid fertilizer on Taiwan elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum Schumach) did provide a response in dry matter content, crude protein, crude fiber, calcium and phosphorus. this is expected because of the nature of the fertilizer itself is influenced by weather and wind.
