Abstract

The objective of research was to investigate the effects of hydrolyzed crab husk to weight of broiler chicken’s digestion organ. The research was conducted on June 9th until July 30,h 2004 at animal cage Cambai Village, Prabumulih. Complete Random Design (CRD) method was used in this research, with 4 treatments and 5 replications, each trial contains 3 chickens, it means that 60 DOC of broiler chickens was needed. The results showed that the used of hydrolyzed crab husk in diet was significant by affected (P<0,01) on gizzard percentage. Significant affected (P<0,05) on intestine percentage, but it was not significant affected on heart weight and pancreas percentage of broiler chickens. It was proved that using hydrolyzed crab husk to 4 % levels could increase the percentage of broiler chicken's inner organ. The use of hydrolyzed crab husk up to level 4 % was the besi level which be used to broiler chicken. But, it is needed to require the further research to use the level of digesting ofhydrolyzed crab husk on broiler chicken.
