Abstract

Penerapan model Teams Games Tournciments telah dilakukan dalam pembelajaran tolak peluru di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Sakti Pumi. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan sampel yang terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas VII. 1 SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Sakti Pumi. Pembelajaran dilakukan sebanyak 4 pertemuan (2x40 menit). Pada pertemuan pertama, keaktifan sebesar 60% dan hasil belajar sebesar 66,66%, pertemuan kedua keaktifan sebesar 63,63% dan hasil belajar mencapai 72,72%%, pertemuan ketiga keaktifan sebesar 68,18% dan hasil belajar sebesar 81,81%, pertemuan keempat keaktifan sebesar 70,3% dan hasil belajar mencapai 87,87%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Teams Games Tournaments meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar.
