Abstract

ABSTRACT Stress can cause students headaches and no appetite, until the most fatal thing, which is suicide. Therefore, treatment is needed that can reduce stress. Reducing stress can be done in various ways, one of which is good and correct stress management can reduce levels of depression and prevent severe mental problems. One of the factors that can be done is by providing health education to increase knowledge in applying good and correct stress management. Along with the development of technology today, android can be used as a medium of Health educative information. In this research, health education is given with Ms application media.Care. This study aims to determine the effect of Ms application.Care for stress management knowledge in final year students who are completing their thesis. This study is a research development and pre-experimental design pretest-posttest design using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. The number of samples in this study as many as 106 final year students who are completing the thesis. Students ' knowledge of stress management was measured using a knowledge questionnaire. Statistical analysis in this study using marginal homogeneity test. Based on the analysis results obtained tilapia p value of 0.000 (α 0.05) which indicates that the application of Ms.Care has a significant effect on the knowledge of final-year students who are completing a thesis on stress management. Android application is one of the electronic learning that can be used as an alternative educational media in facilitating access to information and knowledge therefore Ms application.Care can be recommended as an educational medium for the provision of Health Education.
