Abstract

Water quality classification is governed by South Sumatera Governor Regulation No. 16 of 2005. In this regulation, water allocations are classified into four classes, such as first class for raw water for drinking water, second class for water recreation facilities, third class for freshwater fish farming, fourth class for irrigation. This classification helps in utilizing water according to its quality. Therefore, this study aims to analyze river water using pH, BOD, COD, DO, TSS, Nitrate, Total Coliform, Temperature, Phenol, and Fat and Oil. River water classification software has three main processes: fuzzification, inference and defuzzification. Process defuzzification on sugeno method using Weighted Average. The results showed that the software was able to classify river water according to the Governor Regulation with 97.5% accuracy of the test results using 120 river data.
