Abstract

This research was made with the purpose to know the Effect of Work Placement and Wrok Experience on the Perfomance of Batam Port Business Employess. The population of this study were all employess, with total of 185 people. The sampling method that was used in this study is purposive method sampling where the sample data was based on a certain criteria, and the number of samples uses is 37 people, primary data which was obtained through questionnaires and also secondary data that is employment documents. The analyctical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis it is concluded that work placement and work experience have a positive and significant effect on employee performance Batam Port Business. For the superiors of Batam Port Business it is recommended to pay attention on the suitability employess at work placements that are expected to be in accordance with the educational backrground and work experience of employess, so that employess can complete the job well and as much as possible.
