Abstract

Veterinary clinics especially cat specialists mostly operate in urban areas, so it's not uncommon for cat owners to find it difficult to find a veterinarian. This can result in delays in handling the cat and increase the rate of transmission to other cats or humans. In this study, an expert system was designed that can diagnose skin diseases in Persian cats, determine the percentage of severity and provide treatment solutions. The method that will be used in this research is the Fuzzy Sugeno method because the results obtained from the Sugeno method are not in the form of fuzzy sets but constants or linear equations. In calculating the percentage of disease severity using 8 disease data, 9 symptom data and 30 rule data. The results of expert system testing for skin disease diagnosis using the Fuzzy Sugeno method have an accuracy value of 94.4% based on 18 test data.
