Abstract

ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PPKn FKIP UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA UNTUK MENJADI GURU Oleh Catur Febriyanti Nomor Induk Mahasiswa 06051381621047 Pembimbing: (1) Dra. Umi Chotimah, M.Pd, Ph.D (2 Drs. Emil El Faisal, M.Si Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apakah yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa FKIP Program Studi PPKn Universitas Sriwijaya untuk menjadi guru. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif sehingga data yang diperoleh berupa angka berdasarkan jawaban responden sehingga dapat mendeskripsikan faktor apa yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa program studi PPKn FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya untuk menjadi guru. Faktor yang mempengaruhi minat tersebut yaitu faktor internal yaitu motivasi dan persepsi dan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga dan tewan sebaya. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa PPKn kelas Palembang Angkatan 2017, 2018, dan 2019 yang berjumlah 223 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan taraf kesalahan (5%), maka sampel dalam penelitian ini menjadi 143 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diketahui bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa program studi PPKn Universitas Sriwijaya untuk menjadi guru yaitu faktor internal yang terdiri dari indikator motivasi diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,10% dengan kategori tinggi, untuk indikator Persepsi diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,20% dengan kategori tinggi sedangkan faktor eksternal yang terdiri indikator lingkungan keluarga diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 69,0% dengan kategori tinggi dan indikator teman sebaya diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 64,80% dengan kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor internal yang paling mempengaruhi minat adalah persepsi. In this study, using a quantitative descriptive approach so that the data obtained are in the form of numbers based on the respondents' answers so that they can describe what factors influence the interest of students in the PPKn FKIP Sriwijaya University study program to become teachers. The factors that influence the interest are internal factors, namely motivation and perception, and external factors, namely the family environment and peers. The population in this study were PPKn students for the 2017 2018 and 2019 Palembang class, which was opened by 223 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique with a level of error (5%), so the sample in this study became 143 people. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the processing, it is known that the factors obtained by the students of the PPKN study program at Sriwijaya University to become teachers are internal factors consisting of indicators that influence the average value of 70.10% with a sufficient category, for the Perception indicator the average value is obtained. 70.20% with sufficient category while external factors consisting of environmental indicators amounted to 69.0% with sufficient category and peer indicators reached 64.80% with sufficient category. The internal factor that most influences interest becoming teacher is perception. Key words: Internal and External Factors, Interest in Becoming a Teacher.
