Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic value added and financial ratios towards stock return of consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2016-2021 and also to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Earnings per Share (EPS), and Economic Value Added (EVA) terhadap Return Saham. The population consists of 103 companies of Consumer Non-Cyclicals sector. This research was conducted using the purposive sampling method with the aim of to get a representative sample according to the specified criteria. The number of samples are 56 companies in the Consumer Non-Cyclicals sector with the 2016-2021 period. The method used to analyze the data is multiple linear regression analysis method. Hypothesis testing was using by simultaneous F test and T partial test. Based on the test results show that the Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and Economic Value Added (EVA) variables have a insignificant effect on stock return. Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Earnings per Share (EPS) have a significant effect on stock return.
