Abstract
Sembilang National Park is a unique area because it is a conservation area and there are many rivers that flow into various areas. Stock estimation in Sembilang National Park was carried out to see the density and biodiversity of fish based on the results of an acoustic survey. Efforts in managing the potential of fish resources are carried out with the aim of maintaining and saving aquatic resources. This research was conducted in March 2022. The research method used is hydroacoustic using the Echosounder Biosonic DT X Split beam with a frequency of 206 KHz. which is supported by data from push net sampling. The results showed that the composition of the sampling results consisted of 12 families and 19 species. The detected target strength were (-66) – (36) dB with the highest target strength at a depth of 6 – 9 m, with the highest average fish density value of 1705 fish/1000 m. The results of the validation of the density of acoustically produced fish with the number of fish caught have a value of R² = 0.779 which means it has a strong relationship.
