Abstract
This research aims to determine the use of ICT by Biology teachers at SMA Ilir Barat I District. This research was conducted from June to July 2022. This research used a descriptive method. Sample of this study were selected using cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this study was five high schools in Ilir Barat I District, consisting of two accredited A high schools, two B accredited high schools, and one C accredited high school. Data collection techniques were questionnaires by the teachers and students, interviews with biology teachers and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that, ICT literacy indicators obtained results of 88% in very high category, use of ICT in planning 89% in very high category, use of ICT in implementation 88% in very high category, use of ICT in evaluation 86% in very high category, and obstacles use of ICT 43% in low category. The results of the student questionnaire showed that the indicators for the use of ICT in the implementation were 75% in the high category, the utilization in the evaluation was 72% in the high category, and the motivation to learn was 78% in the high category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the level of ICT untilization in learning is categorized the same in each school even though they have different accreditations.
