Abstract
This study aims to look at the teacher’s strategy in managing the classroom in learning for 11th grade social studies at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang in economics. This research is a qualitative research that is descriptive and tends to use analysis. The population in this study were all 11th grade social studies of teachers who taught economics at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The sampling using a saturated sample technique that is using the entire population. The data collection techniques are observation and interviews. The results of observations in this study are divided into three indicators, namely physical factors (class conditions), social emotional conditions, and organizational conditions. From the results of this study, it is hoped that teacher’s can be apply strategies to manage classes well and can issue new ideas so that student’s can improve their learninf abilities in economics.
