Abstract
This research aims to describe the taxonomy processes of deliberate practice and kanban on mental learning and transfer assignments of economics for IIS students at SMAN 10 Palembang. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics. Based on the results of test data analysis, The percentage of transfer indicators was 70.83%, critical thinking was 69.05%, and problem solving was 61.90% with an average of 67. 26% categorized at the HOTS level. Based on the results of the questionnaire data analysis, the percentage of cognitive field indicators was 73.51%, schema was 70. 47%, and information processing was 73.08% with an average of 72.35% categorized at the MOTS level. The results of this research indicate that students were involved in learning, require relatively consistent and retention because various assignments have different effects. Accomplishing the questions or assignments given, it evokes the meaning of what was learned so that it can reach the category of thought processes that adjust to understanding, background, interests and needs.
