Abstract
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITES FOR CHILDREN AGED 4-5 YEARS DURING A PANDEMIC IN KANDIS VILLAGE By: Sherly Wahdawati NIM: 06141181621010 Advisor: Dra. Rukiyah, M.Pd Teacher Education For Early Childhood Education ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the cognitive development activities of children aged (4-5) years during the pandemic. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research with four research subjects. For data collection techniques researchers use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used was Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis, including collecting data from interviews, observation, and documentation, then reducing the data that had been obtained from the field, presenting the data in the form of short narratives and drawing conclusions. Researchers used four research subjects, namely parents who have children aged (4-5) years in the village of Kandis. The results showed that the cognitive development activities of children aged 4-5 years were obtained from their parents during the pandemic, namely coloring, counting, playing mazes, assembling blocks, assembling puzzles, and assembling shape blocks.
