Abstract
Monitoring is the activity of analyzing and collecting data using systematically and continuously compiled indicators, or even continuous indicators, in order to influence an activity or program. As well as waste sorting where part of the waste processing or handling process as a process of separating waste from its type there are two types of waste, namely metal and non-metallic. In this study, a visual monitoring was designed using a visual studio to calculate the amount of waste of metal and non-metallic parts using an inductive proximity sensor to detect metal and non-metallic waste while the ultrasonic sensor knew the distance of the presence of waste. The results obtained from this study visual monitoring read the data sent from proximity inductive sensors, ultrasonic sensors and can implement systems on waste detectors.
