Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh capital adequacy ratio dan IT investment terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perbankan yang ada di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebanyak 48 bank dan Teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan estimasi Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Profitabilitas bank diproksikan dengan Retun on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) dan Net Interest Margin (NIM). Selanjutnya, IT investment diproksikan dengan Capital Expenditure (Capex). Penelitian ini juga menggunakan variabel kontrol berupa Size, Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) dan Leverage. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan IT Investment tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas.
