Abstract

This research aim was to study the influence of SPS prebiotic towards the cows of embryo transfer recipients. It was conducted in August until October 2012 at PT. Andira Agro. This research was used 10 Brahman Cross Cows with an average age of 3 years old, they were divided randomly into two groups, the first group was control , it had 5 cows (cows without granting Prebiotic SPS) and the second group with a 5 cow stem tail in the form of preferential treatment (carriers of cows fed on Prebiotic SPS). Both of group were fed with the same ration. The result showed that SPS Prebiotic could improve the performance of rising body weight by 0.67 kg. / day , value bodily condition by 3.2, height by 135.65 cm, length by 119.8 cm and it did not affect in consumption.
