Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of addition probiotic fiber and palm fiber by stratified ammoniation on the male performance of Brahman Cross calf weaning.This study was conducted at PT. Andira Agro Kabupaten Banyuasin in June 2014 until August 2014. This study used 10 male calf Brahman Cross with an average age of 5-11 months. The Cattle were divided into 2 treatment groups. The first treatment was (1) 5 male Calf Brahman Cross was control (Without of addition probiotics fiber and palm fiber by stratified ammoniation ) and second treatment was (2) 5 male calf Brahman Cross was treatment (With adition of probiotics fiber and palm fiber by stratified amrnoniation) and its were given the same feed ration. This study used method T test Statistic. Parameter observed were feed consumption, rising body weight, body condition score, body length , and body height. The results showed that treatment of addition probiotics fiber with 0.5 grams of I head / day of oil and palm fiber by stratified ammoniation from 6%, 4%, 2% did not affect significantly to the increase in feed consumption , body weight gain, body condition score , body length , and body height.
