Abstract

The best teacher selection system that runs at the Muara Enim district education and culture office aims to measure the level of teacher performance. The current assessment system is not maximally well, because there are errors in data processing such as several teachers who have the same criterion score, but the final score results are different. Therefore, in this case, the decision support system for selecting the best teacher using the topsis method is suitable in this case study, this method has 9 criteria, namely, attendance, communication with students, application of norms, personality, work ethic as a teacher, inclusiveness, attitude objective, communication with teachers, and work professionalism. The results of the research are in the form of the best alternative teacher on behalf of Dra. Agustina with a value of 0.8952
