Abstract

This study aim to determine the planning and control of medical supplies at Pertamina Plaju Hospital as a research object and to know the weaknesses of the planning and control system applied to Pertamina Plaju Hospital and how to find the solution. The results showed that Pertamina Plaju Hospital has performed operational activities in accordance with existing procedures. However. the current planning and control systems are still less effective. This can he seen from the existence of the problem of medical supplies shortage that occur and also the duration of arrival of medicine ordered. This is because Pertamina Plaju Hospital does not yet have a proper supplies calculation method. To overcome this problem Pertamina Plaju Hospital requires a calculation of the need for proper medical supplies so that the problem of shortage of supplie and the duration of arrival of ordered medicines can be resolved and of course the hospital management control system must be carried out as well as possible
