Abstract
River’s wave energy plant (PLTGS) is nonconventional energy plant that use vertical wave of river to produce eletrical energy. PLTGS in this research use direct current as magnetic force’s source in rotor. River’s Vertical wave will move rotor up and down towards the stator with coil variation 1500, 1750, 2000, 2250, and 2500 turns . The purpose of this research is to see how magnetic flux in the rotor and how big the output of PLTGS. Design of PLTGS was made using Solidworks software. The change of magnetic flux in rotor can be seen in COMSOL Multiphysics software. PLTGS’ ouput which is voltage will be gotten by using induction voltage equation. The magnetic flux on the PLTGS rotor has a minimum value of 3.61 x 10-4 T on the outside of the homogeneous iron with 13 turns carrying a DC current of 3A and with a maximum value of 2.62 T in the center of the homogeneous iron. The output voltage of PLTGS is 246.75 volts for a variation of 1500 turns, while for a variation of 2500 volts, a large output voltage of PLTGS is 411.25 volts. This proves that the more turns on the stator, the greater the voltage that occurs in the PLTGS. Keyword : River’s wave energy plant, Direct current , coil
