Abstract
Pengembangan budidaya ikan tambakan (Helostoma temminckii) merupakan salah satu budidaya ikan rawa yang prospektif. Masalah utama dalam budidaya ikan tambakan adalah pertumbuhan yang lambat dan efisiensi pakan yang rendah. Usaha budidaya ikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh tersedianya pakan yang cukup secara kuantitas dan kualitas untuk mendukung kinerja pertumbuhan yang maksimal. Pemberian tepung Spirulina platensis pada ikan tambakan dapat mengatasi kendala dalam budidayanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persentase terbaik penggunaan tepung. Spirulina platensis dalam pakan ikan tambakan untuk meningkatkan performa pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan tambakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Dasar Perikanan Jurusan Perikanan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya pada bulan Juli sampai September 2021. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu pakan P0 tanpa penambahan tepung Spirulina platensis, P1, P2 , P3, dan P4 dengan penambahan tepung Spirulina platensis berturut-turut 1,5%, 3%, 4,5%, dan 6% pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P4 menunjukkan hasil terbaik dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 1,02 g, panjang mutlak 0,49 cm, efisiensi pakan 28,73%, dan rasio efisiensi protein 0,89. Kualitas air media budidaya selama penelitian masih sesuai untuk budidaya ikan tambakan yaitu suhu 26,1-27,9oC, pH 6,4 -7,0, dan oksigen terlarut 3,20-5,97 mg L-1. Kata Kunci : ikan tambakan, pertumbuhan, Spirulina platensis The development of kissing gourami (Helostoma temminckii) cultivation is one of the prospective swamp fish cultivation. The main problem in kissing gourami farming is slow growth and low feed efficiency. Fish farming business is strongly influenced by the availability of sufficient feed in quantity and quality to support maximum growth performance. Giving Spirulina platensis flour to kissing gourami can overcome problems in the cultivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the best percentage of use of Spirulina platensis flour in feed for kissing gourami to improve growth performance and survival of kissing gourami. This study was conducted at the Basic Fisheries Laboratory, Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from July to September 2021. This research consisted of 5 treatments and 3 replicates, namely P0 feed without the addition of Spirulina platensis flour, P1, P2, P3, and P4 the addition of Spirulina platensis flour 1.5%, 3%, 4.5%, and 6% of feed, respectively. The results showed that P4 showed the best results with absolute weight growth of 1.02 g, absolute length of 0.49 cm, feed efficiency of 28.73%, and protein efficiency ratio of 0.89. The water quality of the culture media during the study was still suitable for kissing gourami rearing, namely temperature 26.1-27.9oC, pH 6.4 -7.0, and dissolved oxygen 3.20-5.97 mg L-1.
